Send the request from the mobile app
This process is intended for a worker who can no longer sign in to the mobile app using their current PIN.
- On the mobile sign-in screen, select Forgot PIN.
- Enter the same phone number stored in the worker profile.
- Send the request.
- Wait for the company owner or an administrator to process it in the admin portal.
Important: Presenco does not automatically send a new PIN by SMS or email. The request only informs the administration that the worker needs assistance.
The worker should not create multiple requests. One pending request is sufficient. If the phone number is no longer correct, the administration must update it in the worker profile first.
Set the new PIN in the admin portal
Pending requests appear under Mobile PIN reset requests on the dashboard.
- Verify the worker’s name, phone number and request date.
- Select Reset PIN.
- Enter a new PIN containing 4 to 6 digits. A 6-digit PIN is recommended for consistency with newly created workers.
- Add an optional internal admin note if needed.
- Select Complete.
- Share the new PIN through a secure channel.
After completion, the old PIN no longer works and the worker’s active mobile sessions are closed. The worker must sign in again using their phone number and new PIN.
Ignore a request
Use Ignore only when the request is a duplicate, was created by mistake or has already been resolved another way. Ignoring the request does not change the current PIN.
Reset directly from the workers list
An administrator can also open Workers, select Reset PIN and choose between:
- automatically generating a secure 6-digit PIN;
- manually entering a PIN containing 4 to 6 digits.
The worker must be active and have a phone number. The new PIN may only be displayed once, so copy it and share it securely straight away.
